The Dubois County Bombers: Baseball With a Twist of Nostalgia

League Stadium: A Star of the Silver Screen
League Stadium is a historic gem in its own right. Originally built in 1894 and rebuilt in 1991, it became famous as a filming location for the 1992 movie A League of Their Own, starring Tom Hanks, Geena Davis, and Madonna. Scenes were shot throughout the park, and the movie’s legacy remains a proud part of the stadium’s identity today.

Marla’s Hooch, the most refreshing peach cocktail on the planet and the official canned cocktail of the Dubois County Bombers is back! The Peaches Wine Bar will also be back, featuring a wide selection of chilled wines in addition to the “Famous Peach Wine Slushy.”
Don’t worry the variety of beer and craft beer will still be on tap & in bottles in addition to the Flyboys & Whiskeys liquor bar, tucked under the stadium for the non-beer lovers.
Other Events at League Stadium
June 20, a full 7 inning Peaches vs. Belles game is coming to League Stadium (while the Bombers are on the road). An outstanding group of young women will re-enact this remarkable era with a competitive, high-energy softball game, complete with vintage Peaches and Belles uniforms and a classic style that pays tribute to a time we’ll never forget.
July 25 & 26 see America’s Most Playful Ball Club! The Rocket Squirrels play the Chicago Snowballs at Huntingburg League Stadium. Fans can expect a one-of-a-kind atmosphere featuring high-energy music, fan participation, on-field entertainment, and a style of play that doesn’t take itself too seriously—but still delivers plenty of baseball along the way.
