Tell City Pretzels might be new to Jasper…but certainly isn’t new to the snack industry. Tell City Pretzels has been around a very long time. Like over 150 years ago long time. TC pretzels are not like “normal” pretzels, they have a hard crunch to them. They are deemed to be the hardiest crunch ever. So, make sure you bite Bravely when you do!!
Tell City Pretzels Today
Although an outlet remains open in Tell City at Logo’s 1001 Main Street, visitors or anyone passing 402 Jackson St. in Jasper can watch as the raw dough is turned into the twisted, salty treats while watching through an observing window. Also new to the Jasper location is the “Pretzel Experience”. You can go into the store and take a guided tour of how pretzels are made. Cost is $5 per person, and you get to twist your own pretzel. In addition to the hard and crunchy Tell City Pretzel, they also offer soft pretzel options. Their soft pretzel option is labeled and known as “Pretzelville”. This lineup includes a soft pretzel, a pretzel burger bun, a pretzel hot dog bun, and a pretzel stick. All these items are available and sold in the store and at a variety of different merchants. Two other items Tell City Pretzels sells are chocolate covered pretzels, along with decorative tins. You can build your own gift tin with different flavored pretzels along with your company logo on it. The fine quality, unique taste, and famous crunch of the pretzels will stay true, and the secret recipe will continue to remain a secret!

What a hidden gem! We spent hours here with the kids and my mom and everyone had a blast! So much to look at and discover. The history, scavenger hunts, and all the hands on activities were a hit! Built in 1894, the grandstand at Huntingburg City Park has seen its share of exhibits, shows, races, and certainly baseball games.
