From small-town festivals to big resort shows, here’s where you can catch the best fireworks displays in southern Indiana this year.
Celebrate America’s birthday at Jasper’s Patriotic Party on Thursday, July 2, at Jaycee Park! Bring the whole family for an evening packed with fun, including food trucks, crafts, bounce houses, and live entertainment. Thunder Over Patoka at Patoka Lake

Celebrate Independence Day in style at French Lick Resort, just a scenic drive from Dubois County. On Friday, July 3, enjoy a spectacular Drone Show beginning at 10:00 p.m. on the Front Lawn. Then, keep the celebration going on Saturday, July 4, with a dazzling Fireworks Show lighting up the night sky at 10:00 p.m., also on the Front Lawn.It’s a family-friendly evening that pairs perfectly with a day of exploring the historic resort, grabbing dinner, or catching live music.
