On Sunday, November 9 the festivies begin with shopping from NOON – 5pm on 4th street followed by music in the park from 5-6. You won’t want to miss the magic of the annual Christmas Tree Lighting and storytime with Santa beginning at 6pm in Market Street Park. Following the festivities, enjoy the Feast of Fools, a chaotic cacophony of Christmas Carols in the spirit of Dickens.
During the week, local stores are open from 10am-7pm daily with a variety of activities and workshops in the evening. Check on the facebook page to reserve your spot. Some workshops include cookie & beer pairings at Yard Goat Artisan Ale and a photo session with the Dubois County Humane Society offering pet photo sessions with Santa. Check back often to see new events being added to the schedule.
Friday, November 14th kicks off the main events with the street being closed for Igloo Rentals, music in the street, & sips & bites at participating stores! Be sure to make plans to dine on 4th Street at one of the popular restaurants. Purchase tickets for the Holiday Home Tour taking place Friday, Nov. 15. This tour highlights historic homes located in and near Historic 4th Street.
On Saturday, stores open at 10am with activitites to keep you busy all day long on 4th Street..enjoy carriage rides, visits with Santa, kids activities, live music, book signings, food trucks & vendors & igloo rentals. Saturday evening, bring the entire family to enjoy the movie ELF right on 4th Street.
The Local Lather is hosting a Tinsel Party, offering tinsel, color sprays & mohawks on Friday, Nov. 14th from 4-7pm. Fun for all!!

The festivities end on Sunday with shopping from 12-5pm. Enjoy another day of carriage rides, santa visits & igloo rentals.
