Two beloved initiatives—Alive After 5! in Jasper and 4th Fridays in Huntingburg—invite locals and visitors alike to experience vibrant downtowns filled with free live music, extended shopping hours, family-friendly fun, and refreshing sips within designated DORA districts.
A Summer Rhythm in Downtown Jasper
Held on the first Friday of select months, Alive After 5! transforms the historic square in Jasper into a lively gathering place where music, shopping, and community spirit blend seamlessly. Running from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., the event encourages visitors to stroll through downtown, explore local boutiques, and enjoy pop-up vendors while live music fills the air.
Throughout the season, guests can expect performances from talented local musicians, setting the tone for a relaxed and welcoming evening atmosphere.

Live Music & Family Fun in Huntingburg
Just a short drive away, Huntingburg’s 4th Fridays concert series delivers a high-energy, festival-style experience at Market Street Park. Held on the fourth Friday of May, June, July & August, these free concerts run from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m., offering an extended evening of entertainment perfect for all ages.
Families can enjoy kids’ activities like inflatables, while food trucks and vendors serve up delicious bites. The city’s DORA district also allows guests to responsibly enjoy beverages as they stroll 4th Street & enjoy Market Street Park.
