[Jasper, May 29, 2023] – Jasper Community Arts is proud to unveil an extraordinary lineup of performances for its highly anticipated 2023-2024 season. This season promises to captivate audiences with an eclectic mix of Main Stage, Backstage, Live at the Astra, and Family Fun performances, showcasing a diverse range of talent from renowned artists and entertainers.

The Main Stage Series will feature several outstanding performances, including the critically acclaimed onewoman show “Bette Davis Ain’t For Sissies,” where audiences will be transported into the captivating world of the iconic Hollywood legend. Country music enthusiasts will be delighted to experience the timeless harmonies and infectious energy of Diamond Rio, a beloved and award-winning country band. Additionally, the timeless classic “A Christmas Carol” will come to life on stage, spreading joy and the true spirit of the holiday season. For those with a taste for musical artistry, Chris Mann will mesmerize audiences with his show “Bennett: From Gershwin to Gaga,” paying homage to the legendary Tony Bennett. Finally, the incomparable Lea Salonga will grace the stage, showcasing her exceptional vocal talent and captivating presence. The Backstage Series will provide intimate and unique performances, featuring artists such as Dala, known for their soul-stirring harmonies and engaging stage presence, and the internationally acclaimed pianist Julian Gargiulo, who will dazzle audiences with his virtuosity and charisma. Additionally, Okaidja Afroso will bring his rich African musical heritage to the stage, creating a captivating fusion of sounds and cultures.

The Live at the Astra Series will feature evenings of laughter and musical brilliance, with performances by the hilarious Keith Alberstadt and the sensational jazz and gypsy swing ensemble, The Black Market Trust. Audiences will also have the opportunity to celebrate love and romance with the special Valentine’s Day-inspired performance, “My Funny Valentine,” showcasing comedians Amy Barnes and Pat Hazell.

The Family Fun performance will feature the delightful and entertaining Popovich Pet Comedy Theater, where audiences of all ages will be enchanted by the remarkable talents of trained animals and their human companions.

Season guides, containing detailed information about the performances, venues, and ticketing options, will be available in early June. Subscribers will have until June 30 to renew their tickets, ensuring priority seating and exclusive benefits. New subscribers can purchase tickets beginning July 1, while individual tickets for all performances will go on sale to the general public starting August 2 at 10:00 AM Eastern.
