If you’re planning to attend the beloved Garden Gate Wine, Craft Beer, & Jazz Festival in downtown Huntingburg, you probably have a few questions—and we’ve got you covered! Whether you’re a first-time guest or a returning fan, here’s everything you need to know before you go.
1.When and where Garden Gate held?
Garden gate takes place April 25th in historic downtown Huntingburg at Market Street Park. The event runs from 12:00pm – 6:00pm EST.
2. Do I need a ticket?
Attendees will need to purchase a ticket. General admission to the festival is $25 (21yrs + valid ID) which includes a tasting glass or beer pitcher. You choose! Designated Driver or you just want to enjoy the food trucks and music…your admission is $10. If you are under 18 you are FREE. Now you can save $5 with the Early Bird Discount
3. Is the festival family-friendly?
Yes! While wine and beer are a big part of the event, families are welcome. There’s plenty of entertainment, food, and grass area for all ages to enjoy. Bring your lawn chairs or blanket and enjoy the atmosphere.
4. What kind of drinks are available?
Guests can enjoy a wide variety of:
- 7 different wineries (Monkey Hollow, Bottom of the Barrel, Ertle, Best Vineyards, Hymn & Hers, and Two-EE’s Winery
- 4 different breweries (St. Benedicts Brew Works, Yard Goat Artisan Ales, & Patoka Lake Brewing, & Ash and Elm Cider
- There’s something for every palate—from sweet wines to hoppy brews.
5. What kind of music can I expect?
As the name suggests, jazz takes center stage! You’ll hear from:
- Logan Dyer 12:30pm – 2:00pm
- After Hours Jazz 2:15pm – 3:45pm
- Hermanos 4:00pm – 5:30pm
Live performances throughout the day create a relaxing and vibrant atmosphere.
6. Will there be food available?
Absolutely! A variety of food vendors will be on-site offering everything from festival favorites to unique local flavors. Whether you’re craving something savory or sweet, you won’t leave hungry.
7. Where should I park?
Parking is available throughout Huntingburg, including street parking and designated public lots. Arriving early is recommended to get a convenient spot.
8. What happens if it rains?
