CELEBRATING MAY IN FERDINAND
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo and the Kentucky Derby the Ferdinand way! Events include a Mother and Daughter class, classes on making knotted rosaries plus a beer and spent grain bread class. Other events and specials are being planned. Race to Ferdinand to celebrate May with the Ferdinand merchants!
JASPER EVENTS IN MAY
Make plans to explore downtown Jasper, Indiana in May! The first Thursday of the month, take your pick at the variety of food trucks that are available at the Downtown Chowdown at the Jasper Riverwalk. Also be sure to stop by the Thyen-Clark Cultural Center for their First Thursday event, showcasing two new gallery exhibits on display. On the weekend of May 20-21, enjoy ROJAC’s 20th Anniversary with chainsaw carvers at the Schaeffer Barn and stonecarvers at the Jasper City Mill! On Sunday, May 21 the Old Jasper Day and Strawberry Festival takes place featuring train rides on the Spirit of Jasper Train and carriage rides around the Old Jasper District. Bring the entire family down for a weekend of fun in downtown, Jasper, IN!
