WINTER invites you to experience the magic of the holiday season as each unique community in Dubois County hosts Christmas festivals for families to enjoy. Enjoy the tranquility of snow-covered landscapes including;  St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monastery Immaculate Conception and other historic structures throughout the county.

Cozy up to a warm beverage at a local cafe or near the new fire-pit located around the downtown square in Jasper. Catch a unique live performance at the Jasper Arts Center or Astra Theater.

Things to do in Winter

As winter gives way to SPRING, Dubois County bursts into a riot of colors. Cherry blossoms and dogwood trees paint the landscape in shades of pink and white. Take an adventure to a you-pick flower farm and make your own bouquet. Embrace the season with a leisurely stroll through the scenic parks or take a walk on the Riverwalk, along the Patoka River for a breath of fresh air. Don’t miss the chance to visit local farmers’ markets for fresh produce and homemade treats in both Jasper & Huntingburg beginning Memorial Weekend. The Garden Gate Jazz, Wine, and Craft Beer festival kicks off festival season in southern Indiana taking place at Market Street Park, located right off Historic 4th Street in Huntingburg.
