Pastels with Avon Waters

Join us  for an all-day pastel intensive suitable for beginners to advanced artists! Participants will enjoy a live demonstration of Avon’s ‘construction, deconstruction, and reconstruction’ painting process.   Avon demonstrates the use of various wet pastel mediums to build paintings with depth, atmosphere, layers, and richness.   Participants bring, set up, and use their own materials; some materials provided for a limited number of beginners. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. for participant set up. Sessions are from 9:00 a.m. to noon; and 1:00-4:00 p.m. Participants are welcome to bring a cooler and enjoy their lunch on campus!
