The Jasper Strassenfest takes place on July 30-August 2, 2026, in Jasper, Indiana. The German-inspired street festival features live entertainment on three downtown stages, polka, lederhosen, hot air balloons, food, games, contests, carnival rides, and more.

Are you going to have a hot air balloon ride at the festival this year
It is always weather dependent but we always have them there. It is normally always Friday night of the Strassenfest.

What is the cost typically for a balloon ride? We are considering bringing our family from up north this year.
The Strassenfest does not do hot air balloon rides. You can go and check them out and depending on the weather will determine if they take off or not.
Car show this year?
Last year there was south of town a car show and chili tasting event. Also a BBQ cooking competition with samples handed out. Will any of these be repeated and what day and times if so.
