Kids’ Day takes place on June 25, hosted by the Huntingburg Merchants Association inviting kids to set up a booth to sell some of their own wares. There is no charge to participate. Apply for a booth space here. Click here to visit the Facebook Event Page
In order to have a booth for Kids’ Day, you must agree to the following:
1) One parent or guardian must agree to remain in the kids’ booth area to supervise. Supervising parents have the responsibility to make sure kids comply with the rules. We plan to close 4th Street for the day and will not allow vehicles to enter the premises that day. Tables, chairs and sale items should be transported to the assigned location with these constraints in mind.
2) Kids and parent/guardian are responsible for set up, tear down and any clean up required at the beginning and end of the day. Set up should be finished by 9:00 am and tear down will occur at 3:00 pm.
3) Any food being sold must be labeled with ingredients and individually packaged. Drinks should have lids. Handmade crafts are encouraged. Additional booth ideas could include: hair paint, hair braiding, temporary tattoos, henna art, face painting, etc. All booth applications will be reviewed by the board prior to approval to ensure that activities are in compliance with rules and do not overlap with others. Applications will be approved on a first come, first serve basis.
