About the Instructor
Lori Austin has had a love affair with tea that started when she was a young teenager. Over the years, she experimented with blending herbs to make a variety of herbal teas. Last Spring, she turned this love into a small business, Holland Girl Farm, and has gone from making teas to give to friends and family as gifts, to provide them to the local community through farmer’s markets, and now Traditional Arts Today. Lori has completed herbal courses, such as The Home Herb School and Making Herbal Preparations 101 presented by the Herbal Academy. She has also completed hours of research on herbs, herbal medicinals, and essential oils, although her main interest has remained in herbal teas and the benefits they can bring to our body, mind, and spirit.
