Our 2023 performance series kicks off on Saturday, May 20, 2023, with a career-spanning tribute to a legend in country, rockabilly, and rock and roll: the incomparable Johnny Cash. From “A Boy Named Sue” to “Ring of Fire” to “Rusty Cage”, Johnny Folsom 4 is the ultimate tribute to the legendary Man in Black.
Lead singer David Burney’s southern baritone delivers Cash’s classic songs in fantastic fashion, while his band fills the shoes of Luther and Carl Perkins and their classic guitar riffs and provides the hallmark, train-like rhythm the whole world knows and loves.
“For those of us unable to have seen Cash perform during his life, this is more than a treat. It’s a time machine.” – No Depression Magazine

No strangers to the Lincoln Amphitheatre, Rearview (then named Pearl Jam Tribute Chicago) performed a full acoustic set at the Lincoln Amphitheatre to a limited capacity, but sold out, and amazingly excited and receptive audience during the summer of 2020. Back (and fully electric) for round two in 2023, Rearview is the midwest’s premier tribute to one of the greatest and most influential American rock bands of all time.
Comprised of not just excellent musicians, but huge fans of Pearl Jam’s vast and wildly popular catalog of music, Rearview strives to give the audience the sound, feel, and everything that has come to be expected of a Pearl Jam live experience.

Let’s go back in time, shall we? When we worried less, the world was more carefree, and the David Lee Roth-led version of Van Halen was the world’s biggest rock and roll phenomenon. Faithfully recreating the sound, look, and energy of the original Van Halen lineup (1978-1984), ’84 brings a jaw-droppingly authentic and passion-filled show—tirelessly working to bring you the most accurate VH concert experience possible!
Behind this outrageously accurate concert experience are four seasoned and synced music professionals with the objective of taking each audience back in time to the early days of Van Halen when rock music ruled the world and Van Halen ruled rock music. ’84 covers material from the original self-titled Van Halen (1978) through their most popular (and final w/ Roth) album, 1984. Classics ranging from “Runnin’ with the Devil” to “Unchained” to “Panama” and “Jump”, this will, most definitely, be a fun night of rock and roll!

The lone return appearance from our 2022 performance series, Electric Avenue the 80’s MTV Experience rocked AND rolled the Lincoln Amphitheatre audience last year! Providing an evening and musical journey that spans both sides of 1985, Electric Avenue will, undoubtedly, transport you back in time by authentically (and painstakingly) recreating hits from your favorite era.
An Electric Avenue show is a high energy space that reminds people of a time when they came home from school, put on a record, and listened with open ears and an open heart: conjuring first dates, first cards, prom nights, weekend movies, and meeting friends at the mall.
The 80s will, TOTALLY, be alive and well in Lincoln City on July 8. Dress the part (not required, but, come on, how fun??) and join us. We promise a tubular and rad experience!

Ace Frehley @ 7:30 p.m.
You know Ace Frehley, right? Of course you do—he’s enshrined in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame alongside the rest of the original (and most successful!) lineup of the original rock and roll and party all nighters KISS. Yes, THAT KISS. Ace was the original lead guitarist for KISS (which he co-founded in 1973) from 1973 until 1983. He was also their BEST—his song-within-the-song guitar solos are as much as part of KISS as the band’s seven-inch platform boots. And he’s always been the coolest member of KISS…rock ‘n roll swagger, laid back, and mysterious. Even people who DON’T like KISS still love Ace.
In his time away from KISS (1983-1996 and 2002-present), Frehley has put together the most successful solo career of any member—current or former.
As always, Ace is traveling at an altitude us mere mortals will never understand—a life lived to the fullest and one that has defied, well, everything.
An Ace Frehley performance is full of KISS classics, as well as some of his most beloved solo songs. Click here to see a sample set list from a November 2022 performance. For more information about Ace Frehley, visit www.AceFrehley.com.

Southern Avenue @ 7:30 p.m.
A little bit funk, a little bit roots, a little bit blues, and a whole lot of soul, Southern Avenue will bring it ALL to this season’s Emerging Artist Saturday at the Lincoln Amphitheatre! Emerging Artist Saturday will, hopefully, become an annual season offering and will feature amazing nationally-touring talent.
Memphis-based, GRAMMY-nominated Southern Avenue inked their first record deal with the legendary Stax Records in 2016. The first Memphis band signed to Stax in over 40 years (FORTY YEARS!), their self-titled debut was an immediate phenomenon, reaching #1 on iTunes’ “Top Blues Albums” chart before being honored with the 2018 Blues Music Award for “Best Emerging Artist Album”. 2019’s KEEP ON proved an even greater success, debuting among the top 5 on Billboard’s “Top Blues Albums” chart amidst worldwide critical acclaim, ultimately, earning Southern Avenue their first GRAMMY Award nomincation for “Best Contemporary Blues Album”.
In 2021, Southern Avenue released their third full-length album Be the Love You Want (produced by multi-GRAMMY winner Steve Berlin (Los Lobos, Susan Tedeschi, Deer Tick). American Songwriter called it a “potent soul force!” and No Depression proclaimed it be “one of the most listenable, and danceable, records of the year.”
Since this release, the band has continued its breakneck touring schedule with 2022 highlights including Bonnaroo, the Austin City Limits Festival, and supporting Sheryl Crow as well as Keb’ Mo in multiple cities and three separate tours in Europe.
And in 2023, we are excited to welcome this energetic and talented powerhouse of a band to the Kyana Woodstock Performance Stage at the Lincoln Amphitheatre.
