Our final Sunday afternoon matinee Amp Unplugged event of the year is also our season finale—and what a special one it will be! Join us as we welcome long time ROMP veterans Kings Highway and their traditional style of bluegrass music. If you like the stylings of bluegrass legends Bill Monroe and the picking of Lester Flatt & Earl Scruggs, boy do we have a Sunday afternoon for you!
Joining Kings Highway will be Classy & Grassy, a young, traditional bluegrass band that just loves to pick and grin. Hailing from Western Kentucky, they come from the heart of bluegrass music. playing bluegrass, traditional country, & gospel, and they’ll quench your thirst for all kinds of good music. Not only are they the youth of the industry, they are professional instrumentalists and vocalists that captivate and entertain a crowd like no other! Just to top things off, they are produced by Honorary Doctorate Achiever of Lincoln Memorial College, a Grand Ole Opry Legend, & Grammy Award Winner, Jeannie Seely. These kids are just great! They have great records out on all streaming platforms, so go check them out!
Also, come to Lincoln State Park early, as your tickets get you access into the park as early as 11 a.m. central time for the second annual Young Abe’s Bluegrass and Country Craft Fair. The craft fair is co-hosted by Lincoln State Park and the Lincoln Amphitheatre and will be held in the Amphitheatre’s parking area from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. central time. The event will, again, feature a variety of craft vendors, food, and naturalist-led activities for people of all ages!
Come see us—this is our last performance of 2023!
