Ferdinand Christmas Pyramid
A dazzling new holiday attraction is lighting up Ferdinand, Indiana! Standing an impressive 34 feet tall, the town’s German Christmas Pyramid celebrates the community’s deep German heritage and adds a spectacular centerpiece to the Christmas season. Sunday, November 1 will officially kick off the 2026 holiday season with the first lighting of the Christmas pyramid!
This handcrafted wooden structure, inspired by traditional pyramids found in Germany’s outdoor Christmas markets, features multiple tiers adorned with twinkling lights, intricate figures, and festive décor that tell the story of the season. As the pyramid’s blades gently spin, visitors are invited to step into a scene straight out of a European Christmas village—right here in Southern Indiana.
Located near the heart of Ferdinand’s Christkindlmarkt festivities, the pyramid is a must-see for families, photographers, and holiday enthusiasts alike. Whether you visit during the day to admire the craftsmanship or stop by at night to see it illuminated in all its glory, the experience is nothing short of magical.
Lights Over Market Street Park
Also NEW this holiday season, immerse yourself in the glow of Huntingburg’s enchanting Christmas light display at Market Street Park. Each evening, the gentle luminescence creates a warm, festive ambiance that brings Victorian charm to life along historic downtown 4th Street. Whether you’re sipping cocoa with family, snapping holiday photos, or simply soaking in the spirit of the season, this light display captures the heart of Huntingburg’s community and the joy of Christmas.
The Greater Downtown Jasper Business Association is partnering with the Heart of Jasper and hosting Shop & Sip on Friday, Nov. 21, in conjunction with the National Shop Small initiative, PINK FRIDAY! Local merchants will stay open late and will be offering discounts and promotions in stores for these special events! Shop & Sip promotes the social district, which allows you to purchase an alcoholic beverage and then walk and shop the district, featuring local specialty shops throughout the downtown.
