January 20, 2010 -- Jasper, IN – The 2010 Dubois County Visitors Guide is now available free of charge at various southern Indiana businesses, including the Dubois County Visitors Center, area hotels/B&Bs, attractions, restaurants and retail establishments. The comprehensive guide contains valuable information on what to do and see while in Dubois County, including a detailed listing of attractions, recreation, overnight accommodations, events/festivals, shopping, dining, special golf and Christmas packages and a centerfold map. A highlighted feature of the guide is the coupon section, offering valuable discounts at various area tourism businesses, including The Millhouse Restaurant, Hammerhead Bar & Grill and the Jasper Inn & Convention Center.
The Visitors Guide, which is reproduced yearly, was created by the Dubois County Visitors Center as a means of providing information to tourists and visitors to the county, as well as serving as a resource for local people.
The Guide is also available at many local gas stations, banks, doctors’ offices, pharmacies, hospitals, realtor offices and car dealerships. The Visitors Center will provide a brochure stand and Visitors Guides at no cost to any business wishing to display them. Multiple Visitors Guides and other brochures are also available for weddings, family reunions, sports tournaments, corporate meetings and other events.
