Southern Indiana's Dubois County is pleased to welcome guests to its annual "Olde World Christmas". Sponsored in part by the Dubois County Visitors Center, this series of traditional olde world events takes place in the towns of Huntingburg, Ferdinand.

The Dubois County Visitors Center will co-sponsor the 2008 Cabela's Crappie USA National Classic October 8-11 at Patoka Lake. The Classic is Crappie USA's largest national event and this is the third time that the Visitors Center has hosted it.

In conjunction with the Dubois County Visitors Center, Huntingburg, Indiana will play host to the first-ever NCBA (National Club Baseball Association) Division 2 World Series May 16-20 at League Stadium.

The Dubois County Visitors Center & Tourism Commission is celebrating National Tourism and Visit Indiana Week with a Spring Tourism Open House on Thursday, May 8, 2008 from 3:00pm - 6pm EDT at their office in Jasper, located at 2704 Newton St.

Dubois County will welcome nearly 30 tour operators and their guests to the area early next week for the annual Spring FAM (Familiarization) Tour.
